Kodak Is Officially Bankrupt

Posted in Blog, Featured, Updates by mrjellybeanz | Tags: ,

Following up from our previous story anticipating the state of financial affairs at Kodak, today comes the news confirming that the former photography giant is now officially bankrupt. One time, Kodak held a 90% share of the photographic film market, began its steady decline in the late 1990s as digital photography and printing began leading the way. This lead to a horrific state of affairs in 2011 and the hiring of law firm Jones Day for restructuring advice late last year, forced upon with Kodak last making a profit in 2007 and having been forced to secure financing upwards of $950 million USD from Citigroup, Inc. in an attempt to fund a restructuring of the floundering enterprise.

Thanks to Wall Street Journal for the info.

Players on both teams involved in this weekend’s Barclays Premier League clash between Arsenal and Manchester United have committed to Nike’s “Make It Count” campaign, pledging to make 2012 the year in which they give everything in pursuit of perfection. Rio Ferdinand, Wojciech Szczesny and Theo Walcott will be amongst the players sporting boots embroidered with “#makeitcount” and the active tweeters amongst them will also have their Twitter handle stitched into their footwear.

Launched via Twitter on New Year’s Eve, a wide range of athletes including Rio Ferdinand, Mark Cavendish and Mo Farah united behind the #makeitcount hashtag, stating their intentions for 2012 and challenging their followers to do likewise. Arsenal’s Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain declared that “The year ahead is all about turning potential into performance – every single day”, whilst Rio Ferdinand simply stated “‘More to Learn. Plenty to teach”. This weekend gives both players and their team mates a great chance to prove that 2012 will be the year they Make It Count.

Kim K. Jokes About O.J./Khloe Rumor

A recent National Enquirer cover story claimed that Khloe Kardashian was actually the love child of her mom Kris Jenner and Mr. Orenthal James Simpson.

That's right. O.J.

Khloe's big sister Kim decided to make fun of the story on Twitter. Kim sarcastically 'confirmed' that O.J. being Khloe's Pop makes perfect sense.

“Now we have all the answers! It makes sense now! Kim tweeted. “Khloe, you are so tan.

You can't make this stuff up. Waitaminute...you can make this stuff up, apparently.
