Italian fashion designer Donatella Versace shared her admiration for the late hip hop icon Notorious B.I.G. The rap legend was known for name-dropping the Versace line in his rhymes and Donatella says the two had a cordial acquaintance with each other.

"I think Biggie was amazing. He came to my shows in Paris many times, and we'd see each other often," she told Fader. "He always used to talk so nicely about my family. I think he was so smart, so intelligent. He had such a mind. So I loved what he was doing and how he was giving people a way to know about Versace--I do think he was giving people a way to know about Versace--I do think a lot of people started to know about Versace because of him."

Mary J. Blige discussed her early years as a young star in a recent interview on CBS News. The singer's growth has been well-documented, and Mary says the younger her was almost a different person. She says she was naive about fame and her influence on a generation.

“I started speaking about what I was dealing with through my music, and 4 million women responded and said, ‘Us too, Mary. And I didn’t know that everyone was hurting like I was hurting. I had no idea. [...] I didn’t know who I was," Blige says. "So if ghetto fabulous and keeping it real and all of that was what I was, I was cool with that … until I learned that I can be more than that. The younger Mary J. Blige, I would call her, she was very unaware, ignorant.�She didn’t know how to sit down and give an interview and respect the interviewer. I’ve grown a lot in that area."

"I don’t know how I knew that whatever I am – which is broken and unarticulate – would help people," she added. "Because I didn’t know I would grow and evolve to this. But I just was completely like, ‘I don’t want to take no etiquette.’ I didn’t care about taking an etiquette class."

Despite claiming that he was going to be retiring in 2012, Waka Flocka Flame assured his fans that he won't be going anywhere any time soon. The Atlanta rapper says he's working on a new project tha the hopes will drop at the top of 2012.

"It felt like a rushed project. I'm going to do it first quarter (2012) because I need to put my all into it," Waka Flocka says, "Triple F Life." "I felt like I was trying to please the label and not the people that really listen to the music."

"I'm trying to put a song together with DMX; he needs to get back on the scene!" he added, before making a bold proclamation. "I'm gonna be the No. 1 artist of the year. That's not a prediction, that's a fact!" he proclaimed.

Tameka Raymond is trying to take full custody of her children with R&B/pop superstar Usher. Tameka claims that Ush has neglected to meet all of the legal requirements in their co-parenting agreement. She says he has failed to obtain her permission before taking the kids out of state, he hasn't gotten her approval on nannies and he didn't allow her to have custody of the children during Christmas of last year.

She also says he closed her Saks 5th Avenue credit card and blasted a headline that says she wanted to take away his children.

"Haha I love how this guy manages to always be the victim. So masterful. Its amazing," she tweeted. "The headline is a lie, also its negative because it only tells a morsel. smh"

Tameka is reportedly also looking for an increase in child support payments.
